The Relay Race Principal
By now, if you are a player in "The Game", you have come to see that while you get a tremendous "surge" of energy from the weekly coaching, your team and your Game partner, you are very much impacted by the energy (especially the lack of it) of the people around you. If you are past week 5 then you know that it is not enough to organize ("Timeblock") yourself, you must cause the people who support or work for you to be more effective and efficient. It doesn't matter how powerful a "runner" you are on your daily "Track" (game point system). You are in a relay race, you rely on the people around you, if they hand the baton to you in a careless fashion or if you hand it off to the next runner and they are busy "admiring the weather" then you won't do so well. It is your responsibility as a player to be the kind of person whose very presence demands "precision" and "accountability" from the people around you.
On a scale of 1-10 how accountable are you being and on the same scale of 1-10 how comfortable are you of "requiring" attention/precision and accountability / personal responsibility from the people on your team?

The Domino Effect
There have been many changes to "The Game" and it's coaching over the last several weeks. One very valuable concept is what we call "The Domino Effect". This term refers to any behavior or decision that is the primary "trigger" for the initiation of a chain of positive effects. For example, if I go to bed early then I tend to wake up early. If I wake up early, then I tend to meditate before I start my day. If I meditate then I tend to be clearer about what's important and I’m more apt to start my day off with prospecting, etc.
Reading this newsletter is one possible example of a simple "trigger" that can cause lots of other "dominos" in your life to fall to your advantage. As I am launching my Game 36 we are also launching a number of new complimentary services for our clients that we have been working on for some time (see below in the "On the Field" section). Any one of these "dominos" could trigger an explosion of results in your life, all you have to do is be willing to take the first step or as we say in "The Game" - knock over the first (trigger) domino.
